EMMA Systems, a Doha company, provides airport operations software for collaborative decision-making, departure sequencing and turnaround management. Its AI layer, Airport Acumen, adds predictions on top.
Founded in 2018 with 51 to 200 staff, it is backed by Al Khor Holding, Qatar Development Bank and Qatar Science and Technology Park. Its Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) platform shares milestone data between airport, airlines, ground handlers and air traffic control, and its pre-departure sequencer manages pushback order. Most modules are decision-support software rather than AI.
It began at Hamad International (DOH) in 2017. Oman Airports chose its A-CDM platform for Muscat (MCT) after a tender in 2024, and Ethiopian Airlines is implementing it at Addis Ababa (ADD). The company lists Zagreb (ZAG), Brussels South Charleroi (CRL) and Amman (AMM) as active sites.

Oman Airports chose EMMA Systems after a tender and signed a collaboration agreement through local partner Shanfari Special Projects, EMMA said on 19 September 2024. The operations management platform, which EMMA calls an AI platform, covers airport collaborative decision-making, a KPI dashboard, pre-departure sequencing and a tool for adverse conditions.
