Employee Q&A assistant on a locally deployed DeepSeek model at Tianjin Binhai
Tianjin Binhai · DeepSeek
Tianjin Binhai uses a locally deployed DeepSeek model as an employee Q&A assistant, CAH reported in October 2025.
DeepSeek, of Hangzhou, develops the DeepSeek family of open-weight large language models. Chinese airports run them on their own servers for staff and passenger assistants.
Founded in 2023, it is a general AI developer rather than an aviation supplier. Tianjin Binhai (TSN) uses a locally deployed DeepSeek model for an employee question-and-answer assistant, and Haikou Meilan (HAK) runs DeepSeek-R1 for an airport chatbot.
Aerostack holds limited verified information on DeepSeek. This profile covers what the register can confirm and will be extended as evidence is reviewed.

The airport had also built an AI application platform and an initial passenger enquiry robot with accuracy above 75%, which was to be used on mobile in future, according to the report. This is reported and has not been verified.
Profile data from the Aerostack companies register; deployment records from the verified register. Evidence grades: T1 first-party confirmation, T2 credible reporting. See Our approach for how records are graded.
Aerostack tracks AI deployments across airports and airlines, with the published evidence behind each record. Photography is real aviation imagery. Record thumbnails may show the named airport or airline; other photographs do not.
