CLEAR launched identity-verification lanes at Raleigh-Durham International Airport on 25 January 2023, letting members confirm who they are with their eyes or fingers before going to TSA screening, according to RDU and CLEAR. CLEAR called RDU its 50th airport.
The launch was expected to create 44 jobs and generate about USD 2.6 million a year in local economic activity, the airport said. CLEAR's figure of more than 14 million members is the company's own.
