AAR press release (PR Newswire/AviTrader) - Thai Airways selects Trax eMRO and Aerostrat Aerros

Aerostrat, a Seattle company founded in 2015, makes Aerros, software for planning airline heavy maintenance up to ten years ahead. AAR bought it in August 2025 for 15 million US dollars, with up to 5 million more contingent on performance.
Aerros runs optimisation and simulation rather than machine learning: planners can build a ten-year forecast in minutes and test unlimited what-if scenarios. It now sits in AAR's Trax suite but still works with other maintenance systems, and the company says about two-thirds of its revenue comes from customers outside Trax.
FedEx Express, which co-developed the product, JetBlue, which moved fully to Aerros-built schedules in 2021, and Alaska Airlines are named users. A longer list including Southwest, SkyWest and Virgin Australia rests on a single secondary source. Claims of more than 5,500 aircraft and 90 per cent of major US carriers are AAR's own.

Airline and MRO asset management and reliability platform that tracks aircraft and component configurations, monitors reliability metrics, and supports maintenance programme optimisation across large fleets.
Airlines and MRO operators managing large fleets need a dedicated asset management platform to track component configurations, monitor reliability trends, and identify maintenance programme optimisation opportunities beyond what generic ERP systems provide.
Profile data from the Aerostack companies register; deployment records from the verified register. Evidence grades: T1 first-party confirmation, T2 credible reporting. See Our approach for how records are graded.
Aerostack tracks AI deployments across airports and airlines, with the published evidence behind each record. Photography is real aviation imagery. Record thumbnails may show the named airport or airline; other photographs do not.
