In 2021 Belo Horizonte's Confins airport was among the airports that tested Embarque + Seguro biometric boarding, IDEMIA said on 16 June 2021.
Its reopened Arrivals 1 has an e-gate for electronic passport checks, Airport Suppliers reported in October 2025.
