Singapore Airlines gives its customer service agents AI summaries and suggestions
Singapore Airlines is adding Salesforce's Agentforce, Einstein and Data Cloud to its customer case management, so representatives receive AI summaries of a customer's history and suggestions on how to help. The airline says it has developed more than 250 generative AI use cases and implemented around 50. No results have been published for the customer service work.
Singapore Airlines' chief executive, Goh Choon Phong, said in March 2025 that the group had been an early adopter of generative AI, developing more than 250 use cases over 18 months, with around 50 initiatives implemented.
The Salesforce agreement adds a customer service application to that programme. The two companies also plan to develop AI tools together for the airline industry at Salesforce's AI Research hub in Singapore.

The work behind the evidence

A summary and a suggestion for every case
The operational problem
A representative handling a complaint or a change request needs the customer's history and the airline's options quickly, without reading through past cases.
What the evidence reports
Salesforce said in March 2025 that SIA is integrating Agentforce, Einstein in Service Cloud and Data Cloud into its case management system for customer service representatives. Einstein summarises a customer's previous interactions and suggests how to help; Agentforce's AI agents take on specific tasks; and Data Cloud supplies the data behind personalised advice.
Operational significance
The design keeps a person on each case, with the AI preparing the ground. That is a safer place to start with for generative AI than an assistant answering customers directly.
Evidence still needed
The announcement describes the first step of the collaboration. No response time, resolution or satisfaction figures have been published, and the "around 50" implemented initiatives are not listed.
A source can verify an announcement without verifying its projected outcome.

Editorial assessment
SIA's documented AI is a large internal programme with one customer service application described in detail.
The next useful evidence is what the AI has changed for representatives and customers, and which of the implemented initiatives reach the airline's operations.
