Digital twin and joint operations centre at Lanzhou Zhongchuan
Deployed
Lanzhou Zhongchuan's sky-ground digital twin combines 5G and BeiDou positioning to show more than 100 operational nodes in real time and locate about 5,000 vehicle movements a day, CAAC News reported on 10 March 2025. A data hub in the same system handles some 80,000 operational records a second.
The joint operations centre has 153 workstations. Emergency response is down to 60 seconds and resource allocation is 40% more efficient, the same report said.
By September 2025, six months after the terminal opened, the airport's bridge-docking rate stood at 99.54%, first in the country, and its automatic bridges had made 43,194 dockings with a 98.21% first-time success rate, CAAC News reported on 21 September.
