Delta Concierge, the AI-powered assistant in the Fly Delta app, became available to all SkyMiles members on 10 August 2026, less than a year after it launched in beta, Delta said. It uses each member's upcoming trips and account details to answer questions and complete tasks.
Customers can now cancel an eligible flight in conversation, with the assistant submitting a refund or eCredit in real time, according to Delta, which has also added rebooking support during disruption. Delta says the tool has supported thousands of customer interactions, and chief digital officer Eric Phillips said features had been added according to how customers used it.
The assistant still carries a "beta" label, which Delta says it will keep as new features arrive over the coming months. Delta has not published resolution rates or satisfaction scores.
